Websprong is a trade name of Fieldmentors B.V., with offices at Schoutstraat 49B, 1315 EW Almere, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 97043761, VAT number NL867887424B01. Fieldmentors B.V. is the data controller for the data processed through this website.
Do you have a privacy question, or would you like to exercise your rights? Email info@websprong.nl or call 06 24465178. We have not appointed a data protection officer; that is not required for a company of our size with these processing activities.
What data do we process?
If you fill in the contact form: your name, your company name, your phone number and, if you enter it, the address of your current website. If you completed our guided quiz, we include your answers: your industry, what you want your site to achieve and the investment range you have in mind. We also record which page you submitted from, and which country your request came from. The latter as a country code only, to spot spam. We do not keep your IP address.
If you call, message or email us: your name and the contact details you use, plus the content of your message.
If you become a client: your billing address, Chamber of Commerce and VAT numbers, the agreements we make and the invoices we send.
If you visit our website: technical data every website receives, such as your IP address, your browser and the time. Our hosting partner keeps this briefly in log files to keep the site secure and available. We do not store your IP address with your request.
What do we use this data for?
Solely to contact you about your request and, if you become a client, to deliver and invoice our services. We never sell your data and we do not send unsolicited newsletters.
On what basis do we process your data?
- Handling your request and contacting you: performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before entering into one (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). If you enquire on behalf of a company, we rely on our legitimate interest in reaching the right contact person (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Delivering and invoicing our services: performance of the contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Keeping our records. Legal obligation: the Dutch tax retention requirement (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- Visitor statistics and log files: our legitimate interest in seeing which pages work and keeping the site available and secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You may object; see below.
Who else sees your data?
We never sell your data and do not use it for advertising. To operate, we do rely on suppliers. They may only use your data for what we instruct them to do:
- Cloudflare: hosting, delivery and processing of our contact form. Your request is stored in a database in the European Union.
- Zoho: our business email. Your request arrives here and stays in our mailbox.
- Umami: our visitor statistics.
If you send us a WhatsApp message, that runs through WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. (Meta). Meta is the controller for that traffic; WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies. We may also share data with our accountant for our records, and with a lawyer or bailiff if that becomes necessary over an unpaid invoice.
Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Your request is processed and stored within the European Union. Some of our suppliers are based in the United States, so access from that country cannot be entirely ruled out. For those situations, the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses apply, forming part of our data processing agreements with these suppliers (Article 46(2)(c) GDPR). Want to see them? Email info@websprong.nl. Would you rather not send any data through this website at all? Call or message us instead.
How long do we keep data?
- Requests that do not lead to a project: up to 12 months after the last contact. After that we delete them from our database, our mailbox and our WhatsApp conversation.
- Contact via WhatsApp, phone or email: up to 12 months after the last contact, unless it concerns an ongoing project.
- Client data: for as long as we work together and 12 months afterwards.
- Invoices and records: 7 years, as required by Dutch tax law.
- Visitor statistics: 12 months.
Cookies and storage on your device
This website places no cookies. We do use a small amount of temporary storage in your browser, for two functional purposes only: remembering the answers you gave in the guided quiz so they travel with you to the form, and remembering that you have already seen the opening screen. That storage disappears the moment you close the tab, stays on your own device and never reaches us or anyone else. Our analytics service also checks whether you have indicated in your browser that you do not want to be measured. Because we use no advertising or profiling cookies, and the storage we do use is necessary for features you switch on yourself, we do not ask for your consent.
Visitor statistics
To understand which pages are useful, we measure visits with Umami. Umami places no cookies and does not follow you across other websites. We measure which page you view, which country the visit comes from, which device and browser you use, which website you arrived from, and whether you click certain buttons: call, WhatsApp, email, starting or finishing the guided quiz, submitting a request, and how far you get in our showcase. For the quiz we also record which industry you chose and which package came out. Umami builds no profile of you and does not store your IP address: it is used only to determine your country and to derive an encrypted, daily-rotating code that counts return visits within a single day. We cannot trace that code back to you. That does not make the measurement fully anonymous. Which is why we mention it here and rely on our legitimate interest.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data and receive a copy, to have incorrect data corrected, to have your data erased, to have processing restricted, to have the data you gave us transferred to another party, and to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
Right to object. Where we process data on the basis of our legitimate interest, which applies to our visitor statistics and our hosting log files, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. Let us know and we will stop, unless we have compelling legitimate grounds that override yours.
Send your request to info@websprong.nl. We respond as quickly as possible and in any case within one month. If your request is complex, we may extend that period by two months; we will tell you within the first month if so.
Do you have to provide your data?
No, you are under no obligation. If you do not fill in the contact form, we simply cannot prepare a concept proposal. Calling or messaging always remains an option. Our guided quiz calculates a package recommendation from your answers. That is an aid, not a decision: a human is always involved before we make you a proposal.
Security and changes
We secure this website with an encrypted connection, use two-factor authentication on our accounts and give access to your data only to those who need it. Suspect something has gone wrong? Tell us straight away. We update this policy when our way of working changes; the date below shows when that last happened. In case of any discrepancy between the Dutch and English version, the Dutch text prevails.
