This local hair salon had a website that hadn't been touched in years. Today the salon has a modern, multilingual site where clients book an appointment in two taps.

The problem
A salon full of craftsmanship, a website from another era.
The old website was built years ago and never touched again. It was barely readable on mobile, the prices were out of date, and new clients had no way to book an appointment directly. Anyone who googled the salon got an impression that didn't come close to the quality inside.
An extra challenge: the salon's clients speak both Dutch and Russian. The old site served only one language, and was structurally turning customers away because of it.

Our approach
Free concept first, live within a week.
We started with a free concept proposal: a design that captures the warm, personal feel of the salon, built around the price list and booking option. Once approved, we built the full site and took care of everything around it. Domain, hosting and copy in two languages.

The result
From no clients at all through the site to six in the first week.
In the first week after launch, six new clients came in through the site. The old site brought in none at all: most appointments now run through WhatsApp, straight from the price list. In Russian too.
The benefit she hadn't seen coming lies elsewhere: now that prices are online in black and white, there is no conversation about what something costs. Holding to fixed prices became a great deal easier.
My clients simply book through the site now. It looks exactly the way my salon feels, and I don't have to lift a finger.
